If you have a loved one who is a patient at a Sentara hospital, sending them an E-Card is a great way to let them know you care and brighten their day. We’re happy to provide this free service as part of our mission to improve health every day.
Card Guidelines
Using this site, you can select and personalize the E-Card of your choice. E-cards are printed, folded, sealed and hand-delivered to the patient by Sentara staff or volunteers within 24 hours if submitted on a weekday, or the next business day if submitted on a weekend or holiday.
Please note:
- E-Cards are delivered Monday – Friday, between the hours of 8 am – 5 pm
- E-Cards submitted on Saturday or Sunday may be delivered on Monday
- E-Cards will not be printed or delivered for patients who have been discharged or are not a patient at a Sentara hospital
To ensure delivery of your card, please supply the correct spelling of the patient’s first and last names so we can accurately identify the patient.
Protecting Privacy
We take great care to safeguard the privacy of our patients, but because our cards are printed and hand-delivered to our patients, your message may be viewed by others. Please do not include any confidential information or use inappropriate language or content in your message. To protect the privacy of our patients, we are not able to confirm or guarantee E-Card delivery.
